Job summary

Valeo INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a dedicated R&D Engineer in its Product Technical organization in Chennai. This full-time position involves contributing to design, validation and technical architecture in alignment with internal and customer requirements.

The role covers robust design, simulations and validation, adherence to design rules and standardization, and collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver economical, high-quality automotive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments
• Follow Standardization rules
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
• His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules: Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests Management follow-up Reports the progress of his tasks Escalate risks
