Job summary

Alan Electronic Systems in Ambernath is seeking a Design Hardware Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to contribute across analog/digital hardware, power electronics and embedded systems.

You will prototype, design schematics, PCB layouts (Altium), assemble BOMs, test, debug and coordinate with RD, Production and Quality teams. Proficiency in C/C++ for firmware and interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) is essential.

Position: Design Hardware Engineer

Experience: 2 - 5 years

Location: Ambernath

Educational Qualification: BTech/B.E. in Electronics Engineering

Roles Responsibilities:

Hardware

• Assist in electronic hardware design and development.
• Work on Analog, Digital, Power Electronics, SMPS and DC-DC circuits.
• Support schematic design, PCB design/layout, BOM preparation and component selection.
• Work with Microcontrollers, Sensors, Displays, Relays, Motors and Drivers.
• Support EMI/EMC testing, troubleshooting and mitigation through proper grounding, shielding and filtering.
• Perform hardware testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Use lab equipment such as Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Power Supply and Electronic Load.

Embedded Software / Firmware

• Develop and debug embedded firmware using C/C++.
• Work with Microcontrollers and peripheral interfaces.
• Hands-on exposure to UART, SPI, I C, RS232/RS485, CAN, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• Interface sensors, displays, communication modules and other peripherals with the controller.
• Support firmware testing, debugging and troubleshooting.

Project Team Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in prototype development, testing and validation.
• Assist in hardware/software integration and product debugging.
• Prepare BOMs, test reports and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with RD, Production and Quality teams.
• Gradually take independent ownership of assigned tasks.

Required Skills Experience:

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics / ETC / Electrical / Instrumentation or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in electronics/hardware/embedded development.
• Good knowledge of Analog, Digital, Power Electronics and Embedded Systems.
• Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools will be preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
