TheWebVale is seeking a Junior Backend Developer to join our remote-first team in India. You'll assist in building server logic, database models, and integrations for client websites and business tools, under direct mentorship from senior engineers and the founder.

You'll learn modern backend patterns, write production code, and participate in two-to-three week release cycles, with code reviews and hands-on learning throughout.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years backend experience or structured training.
• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Basic familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of REST API principles, HTTP methods and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git for branching, staging and commits.
• Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and write clean code.

You will develop basic API routes, database queries, and server features while receiving direct mentorship from senior backend engineers.

As a Junior Backend Developer at TheWebVale, you will assist in building server logic, database models, and integrations for client websites and business tools. You will learn modern backend patterns while contributing real features to client platforms. You will work in close coordination with senior engineers and our founder throughout our two-to-three week release cycles. You will receive hands‑on code reviews, learn proper database handling, and ship production code with confidence.
