Job summary

Avillion Farms is seeking an Architect in Bangalore to join our design team. You should hold a B.Arch or Diploma in Architecture, or an M.Arch, with 2-6 years of industry experience and strong Revit proficiency.

This onsite role focuses on architectural design, BIM modelling, and coordinating with project teams. Responsibilities include drafting with AutoCAD and Revit, producing detailed working drawings and construction documents, and creating photorealistic visualizations using SketchUp,

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Diploma in Architecture or Masters in Architecture.
• 2–6 years of experience in architecture/design firms.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (mandatory) and AutoCAD for drafting.
• Experience with BIM modelling, 3D visualization tools, and coordinated drawings.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Design & Drafting using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop complete working drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections.
• Produce construction documents for all design phases.
• BIM modelling and 3D visualizations using Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max.
• Site coordination and ensure drawings match site conditions.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders throughout design.

Job Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Drafting

• Prepare accurate architectural drawings, layouts, and detailed construction documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Convert sketches and conceptual designs provided by the principal architect, project manager, or design lead into detailed architectural drawings.
• Develop complete working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details, and GFC drawings.
• Produce architectural construction documents for concept design, schematic design, design development, and detailed design phases.
• Assist in preparing drawing packages for project submissions, approvals, and execution.

BIM & Revit Modelling

• Develop intelligent BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Create accurate 3D architectural models and coordinated project documentation.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Revit, including:
• 3D Modelling
• BIM Workflows
• Families
• Annotation Tools
• Sheets & Schedules
• Construction Documentation

Architectural Visualization

• Produce high-quality photorealistic renderings using Revit.
• Create architectural visualizations and 3D walkthroughs using:

• Experience in 3D walkthrough animation will be an added advantage.

Site Coordination

• Conduct site measurements and accurately convert field conditions into architectural drawings.
• Coordinate with execution teams to ensure drawings match site conditions.
• Update drawings based on site observations and project requirements.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with principal architects, Project Managers, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and interior designers.
• Coordinate architectural and engineering disciplines to develop integrated project documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.

Design Development

• Research construction materials, finishes, fixtures, and products suitable for project specifications.
• Prepare conceptual plans, design presentations, renderings, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, construction standards, and client requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project documentation and drawing revisions.
• Prepare reports and project documentation using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure timely submission of project deliverables.

Project Support

• Work closely with the project manager in supervising and coordinating drawing preparation activities.
• Support concept design, schematic design, design development, and detailed design phases.
• Assist the director of architecture and project managers in successful project execution.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.

2. 26 years of experience in an architectural firm, design consultancy, or construction company.
3. Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (mandatory), including:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for architectural drafting and construction documentation.
