Responsibilities of Asst. Manager/Deputy Manager (Packing Material)

• Procurement: Procurement of Packing Material as per the approved procurement process and as per scheduling.
• PO: Preparation of Purchase Proposals.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring, analysis of movement and inventory control and ensuring no stock outs.
• Liasoning: Coordination with internal customers and external customers for better delivery of PM.
• Optimization: To minimize wastages & delay deliveries of key Raw Material & Packing Material.
• Vendor Management: Reduction in PM Cost through sourcing of new vendors, negotiation with vendors as per the comparatives, preparation of PO & bill passing for above purchases, responsible for timely payments to suppliers, sourcing of alternate suppliers, alternate source & alternate grade of key PM.
