Birla Goa Campus, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a Molbio Diagnostics Limited‑sponsored project titled “Smart Stress Detection for University Students: Integrating Wearable Technology and Clinical Expertise” in Goa, India.

The project is 3–5 years long, with hostel accommodation provided subject to institute rules. Selected candidates may apply for Ph.D.

Qualifications

• National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR–UGC NET or GATE are eligible selection criteria.
• Selection may be through national level exams conducted by central government departments.

Job description

Applications are invited for the position of JRF in the Department of EEE at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa, for a Molbio Diagnostics Limited-sponsored research project titled “Smart Stress Detection for University Students: Integrating Wearable Technology and Clinical Expertise”.

Principal Investigator: Nitin Sharma

Broad area of Research: Signal Processing and Machine Learning

Duration of the project: 3-5 Years

Accommodation:

Hostel accommodation will be provided, subject to availability, and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.

Qualification:

Graduate/Post Graduate in a Degree in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering selected through a process described through any one of the following: -

• Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR –UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
• The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by central Government departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

Selected candidate will get a chance to apply for Ph.D. degree at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus (Rules of PhD program for BITS Pilani are applicable)
