Job summary

Bits Pilani Goa Campus invites applications for a PhD position in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) for an industry sponsored research project titled “Microneedle-based Wearable Glucose Sensor for Continuous Monitoring”. The duration is 5 years with a fellowship of 37,000 INR per month, rising to 42,000 INR after two years.

Hostel accommodation will be provided as per institute rules.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related area.
• Or MSc in Physics, Applied Physics, Electronics, Chemical or related area.
• Or MTech/ME in Nanotechnology, Microelectronics, VLSI or related area; related areas allowed.

Job description

Applications are invited for the position of PhD in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

(EEE) at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for an Industry sponsored research project titled:

"Microneedle-based Wearable Glucose Sensor for Continuous Monitoring"

Broad area of Research: Biosensors, microfabrication, electronic instrumentation, wearables

Duration of the project: 5- years

Fellowship Amount (Rs.): 37000 INR, after completing two years fellowship will increase to 42000 INR.

Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.

Qualification:

BE/BTech (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related area)

Or MSc (Physics, Applied Physics, Electronics, Chemical or related area)

Or MTech/ME (Nanotechnology, Microelectronics, VLSI or related area) Related area can be Biomedical sciences, Material science/engineering etc.
