Job summary

Ascent Human Solution is seeking a design engineer to translate customer requirements into automotive body component designs. The role focuses on hands-on CAD development and presenting data to the supervisor. You will create 3D CAD models, run assembly simulations and analyze kinematics to support new plastic product development.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CATIA V5, solid modeling and drafting, and is ready to work with their own hands on plastic product design projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in design software CATIA V5 including solid modeling, surfacing and drafting/3D annotation.
• Hands-on experience designing new plastic products and working directly on projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer design requirements for automotive body components.
• Create 3D CAD models and perform assembly simulations and kinematics.
• Present data and provide input to Supervisor.
