Job summary

BENTELER Group in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India seeks an experienced CAD Engineer to drive concept development, modelling and detailing of automotive components using CATIA V5. You will create 2D drawings, manage BOMs in Windchill/PLM, and maintain ECRs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years CAD/CATIA V5 experience in the automotive sector, strong GD&T fundamentals, and a proven ability to deliver design solutions under defined requirements.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of design and engineering fundamentals, GD&T.
• Very good working knowledge of CATIA V5 and experience in sheet metal parts designing is a must.
• Able to provide Engineering design solutions for analysis targets by meeting the defined requirements.
• Experience in Windchill/ PLM is required.
• Good knowledge of 2D and 3D Modelling / Drafting.
• Good communication, team player, result-oriented, and problem-solving attitude.
• Minimum qualification- Graduate with BE-Mechanical/ Automobile.
• Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in CAD with Catia V5 in the automotive Industry.
