Job summary

Hyosung T&D India Private Limited in Pune is seeking a Jr. Engineer for the Energy Distribution Team to develop mechanical designs for MV switchgear. You will work on outlines and manufacturing drawings using CAD tools and contribute to MV GIS component layouts.

Ideal candidates have 1-5 years of experience, strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred), 2D CAD capability, and good communication. This is a full-time on-site role in Maharashtra.

Qualifications

• Experience with MV GIS/AIS components and related standards.
• Ability to read and interpret outlines and manufacturing drawings.
• Hands-on 3D modeling in major CAD tools.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD and layout of MV GIS in 2D.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Candidate must have work experience of Medium Voltage/High Voltage switchgear Mechanical designs & drawings and demonstrated his/her capabilities for the development of MV Switchgear in past.
• Candidate should have experience of drawings like Outline GA drawings & manufacturing drawings
• Candidate must have hands‑on experience in 3D solid modeling in Solid works / Autodesk Inventor / Solid edge / UG.NX / Creo or any other 3D software.
• Should have hands‑on experience of AutoCAD 2D drawings, layout of Medium voltage GIS in 2D
• Should have knowledge of design and optimization of mechanical components for MV GIS Components like Tank, Sheet Metal, Busbars etc.
• Candidate shall be able to understand the customer requirements from specifications and relative standards.
• Should have knowledge of various types of International Standards related to MV GIS/AIS, Instrument transformers etc.

(Solid works / Solid edge will be added advantage)

• Candidate shall be able prepare error free drawings with the help of checklists and relative documents.
