Job summary

Motherson is seeking a skilled electrical professional in Gujarat to maintain and service moulding, assembly, and coating systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and analyze root causes for breakdowns, ensuring continuous production and quality.

The role emphasizes adherence to TS 16949 standards and systematic PM activities. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical with 3–5 years of hands-on experience, and are proficient

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of moulding machines and electrical systems.
• Reading electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Understanding of HT single line diagrams and TS 16949 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Daily check sheets and charge handover.
• Log book reading and PM execution per plan.
• Record PM data in check sheets and systems.
• Handover machines with signatures and duration accuracy.
• Update PM history in history card/file.
• Attend moulding, assembly and coating machine breakdowns.
• Perform root cause analysis of breakdowns (EWO).
• Carry out power changeovers as necessary.
• Execute activities in the PM activity plan and perform thermal imaging.

What youll do

1. Qualification: Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical
2. Experience required: 3-5 Years
3. Basic process of Knowledge of moulding machine
4. Sound knowledge of Auxillary equipments like Dehumidifier, MTC,Material conveying system,Robot.Should be skilled in reading of electrical Circuits hydraulic circuits.
5. Basic knoweldge of coating machine,Sound knowledge in reading the electrical pneumatic circuits.sound knowledge of vacuum technology.
6. System knowledge TS 16949 other Customer specific
7. Knowledge of HT Single line diagram.

What we are looking for

1. Daily Check sheet.( Charge Handover)
2. Log Book reading.
3. Executing of PM as per the plan recording the data in the check sheets.
4. Handing over the machine to the production with signature, acceptance recording the actual PM duration.
5. Recording of the PM in system on daily basis
6. Updation of the PM history in the history card / file.
7. Attend Moulding machine, Assembly machine Coating machine breakdown
8. After correction handing over the machine to the production with signature, acceptance recording.
9. Do Root cause analysis of Break down (EWO).
10. Rectify abnormalities raised by AM.
11. Do the Power change over whenever necessary.
12. Carry out the activities defined in PM activity plan
13. Carry out the thermal imaging
