Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Jr. Associate for the Product Information Management team. You will write engaging scientific and marketing content for print and digital channels, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

You will research supplier catalogs and internal sources, proofread diligently, and collaborate with Leadership, Marketing and Sales to meet content objectives. A Life science degree and strong writing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a graduate Degree in Life science or an equivalent subject.
• Practical Laboratory experience and good product knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail.

The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a Jr. Associate for the Product Information Management team.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

• Minimum of a graduate Degree in Life scienceor an equivalent subject.
• Practical Laboratory experience andgood productknowledge is a plus

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated superior writing, copyediting,proofreadingand research skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity of basic knowledge in the instrument and chemicals are needed
• Efficiency in a deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent assignments
• Proficiencywith MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat
• Adhere to company’s Policies, procedures,rulesand guidelines
• Always uphold company’s culture and values

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete training and get certified on process/processes within the stipulatedtimeframe.
• Adhere to the workflow instructions/standard operating procedure provided by the business.
• Complete all assigned tasks as per Service Level requirements specified by the business and meet/exceed key performance parameters
• Liaise with both internal and external customers and provide resolution with a customer centric approach.
• Primary responsibilities arewriting engaging scientific and marketing content for print and digital communication channels
• Research in various sources or information like supplier and distributor catalogs (printed and electronic), the internet, internal and external sources (Category Managers, product information, supplier representatives, etc.), and communicate them in a clear and concise manner, using theappropriate voicefor our customers.
• Contribute to content strategy planning.
• Work closely with the Leadership, Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that contentobjectivesare met.
• Proof-read the documents for more extensive language editing and flag them promptly with the designated point of contact.
• To write content which meet SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
