Job Responsibilities

• Integration Architecture: Design and optimize high-performance "glue" code and middleware toconnect COTS components with MCXCCL’s proprietary clearing engines.
• Latency Budgeting: Establish and enforce strict latency budgets across the integration layer toensure that vendor-provided software does not become a bottleneck in the trade lifecycle.
• Technical Evaluation: Conduct deep-dive performance profiling of COTS products to identifyinternal concurrency issues or resource contention before they impact the productionenvironment.
• Adaptive Throttling: Architect API throttling and rate-limiting strategies that protect backendMCXCCL services from sudden traffic spikes while allowing critical traffic to pass at reducedspeeds.
• Failure Isolation: Implement resilience patterns such as Circuit Breakers and Bulkheads toprevent cascading failures across the distributed clearing network.
• Scalability Modeling: Use load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust) to simulate peak marketvolatility and verify that APIs can horizontally scale under extreme load.
• Real-time Reconciliation: Design automated, high-speed reconciliation workflows to identify andrectify discrepancies between COTS datasets and MCXCCL internal records instantly.
• Integrity Verification: Implement advanced data matching algorithms and Checksum/GED (GrossError Detection) techniques to ensure data fidelity during high-volume migrations and businessas-usual (BAU) processing.
• Single Source of Truth: Architect system-to-system synchronization protocols that ensure theclearing house and external vendor platforms always reflect a consistent reality of trades andmargins.
