Job summary

Hayakawa Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a plant supervisor to lead line operations in a full‑time capacity at our AP facility.

You will oversee shift productivity, ensure the availability of RM, Jig, and boards, and drive quality while maintaining safety standards and environmental norms. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in engineering/manufacturing with 4–5 years in production, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role, and strong team management skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• 4–5 years in a production environment, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong team management abilities.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control methods, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using production software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safe and smooth batch operation of the plant in a shift.
• Maintain line productivity and troubleshoot to achieve the production plan in shift.
• Ensure RM, Jig, and board availability per the production plan.
• Maintain 4M change board.
• Deal with OEE by monitoring and maintaining parameters per SOP with line teams.
• Ensure lines and equipment run per system to achieve zero defects.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and environmental norms.
• Manage day‑to‑day line operations of product quality, manpower handling, and line standards per customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure productivity by constantly monitoring the safe and smooth batch operation of the plant in a shift.
• Maintaining line productivity and troubleshooting to achieve production plan in shift.
• Ensuring RM, Jig, board availability as per the production plan.
• Maintaining 4M change board.
• To deal hands-on with OEE by monitoring & maintaining the parameters as per SOP involving line teams and ensuring quality.
• Ensuring proper running of lines and equipment as per system to achieve zero defects.
• Coordinate with maintenance for the preventive and breakdown maintenance of machine.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental norms during all aspects of production operations.
• Manage the day-to-day line operations of product quality, manpower handling, line troubleshooting and maintain the line standards as per customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong team management abilities.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control methods, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using production software and Microsoft Office Suite.
