Job summary

Hayakawa Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in AP region.

You will perform scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and quickly restore operations to minimize downtime. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering with 3–4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering.
• 3–4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably wire harness.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; knowledge of preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery.
• Diagnose issues, repair equipment, and restore operations quickly.
• Monitor machine performance and identify inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with production teams for maintenance planning.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure machines operate efficiently and breakdowns are minimized.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and failures.
• Diagnose issues, carry out necessary repairs, and restore operations quickly.
• Monitor machine performance and identify inefficiencies.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance reliability and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure all documentation complies with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with production teams for maintenance planning and execution.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain safe working conditions and support audits and inspections.
• Provide technical support to production and other departments.
• Assist in machine setup and resolve technical issues.
• Handle emergency breakdown situations and critical incidents effectively.
• Follow emergency protocols to minimize downtime and risk.
• Conduct root cause analysis of failures.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in the Maintenance Department (preferably in the Wire Harness industry)
• Strong knowledge of machines and applicators
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems
• Understanding of safety standards and compliance
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
