Job summary

NS3TechSolutions is seeking an experienced Jira Implementation Engineer to join our team and lead customer implementation projects. The role covers Jira implementation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.

You will gather requirements, configure workflows, schemes, fields, and permissions, and integrate Jira with other tools. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Jira implementation and administration experience.
• Configure Jira projects, workflows, screens, schemes, and custom fields.
• Configure Jira automation, dashboards, and reports.
• Experience with Jira Cloud and/or Data Center is preferred.
• Knowledge of Jira REST API and integrations is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and understand customer requirements.
• Configure and implement Jira based on business requirements.
• Configure projects, workflows, screens, schemes, custom fields, permissions, and notifications.
• Configure Jira Automation, dashboards, and reports.
• Support Jira Service Management (JSM), as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on Jira implementation and administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, custom fields, and automation.
• Experience with Jira Software and/or Jira Service Management.
• Knowledge of Jira REST API and integrations is preferred.
• Experience with Jira Cloud and/or Data Center.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage implementation activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Atlassian/Jira certification.
• ScriptRunner/Groovy experience.
• Confluence experience.
