Job summary

Palni in Hyderabad seeks a seasoned Jira Solution Architect to own the technical solution across design, configuration, testing, and go-live. This role leads architecture of Jira Service Management (Cloud), performs configurations hands-on, and validates end-to-end systems via QA.

The ideal candidate will design secure, scalable workflows, execute configurations independently, and support go-live with a no-code/low-code mindset and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' hands-on Jira Service Management (Cloud) experience.
• Design and configure workflows from scratch with strong QA focus.
• Translate complex processes into robust Jira configurations.
• No-code/low-code mindset for configuration-heavy implementations.
• Secure and auditable workflow design aligned with HIPAA/NIST.
• Deep knowledge of SLAs, automation, permissions, and fields.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure, scalable Jira workflows for incident response and exclusions.
• Configure Jira projects, request types, fields, forms, screens, and workflows.
• Implement automation, conditional logic, SLAs, and permission schemes.
• Set up notifications and integrations; ensure real-time incident visibility.
• Create test cases, perform end-to-end testing, log defects, and coordinate fixes.
• Support go-live deployment and provide hypercare issue resolution.
• Maintain audit-friendly reporting and dashboards for leadership.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Jira Solution Architect to own the technical solution across design, configuration, testing, and go-live. This role leads architecture of Jira Service Management (Cloud), performs all configurations hands-on, and validates the end-to-end system through internal QA.

The ideal candidate will design secure and scalable workflows, execute all configurations independently, validate system functionality through structured QA, and support successful go-live deployment. This is a configuration-heavy role requiring a strong no-code/low-code mindset and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Architect secure, scalable workflows for Incident Response and Exclusion Management
• Translate business process flows into robust Jira configurations
• Design role-based access controls and permission structures
• Ensure workflows are compliant with security and audit requirements (HIPAA, NIST, etc.)

Hands-on Configuration (Jira Service Management Cloud)

• Configure Jira projects, request types, custom fields, forms, screens, and workflows
• Implement automation rules and conditional logic
• Configure SLAs, field validations, and permission schemes
• Set up notification schemes and integrations as required

Reporting & Visibility

• Build dashboards, filters, and reports for security, operations, and leadership teams
• Ensure real-time tracking of incidents, escalations, and exclusions
• Maintain audit-friendly reporting structures

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Create detailed test cases and execute end-to-end system testing
• Log defects, track issues, and coordinate fixes
• Perform regression testing prior to deployment
• Ensure delivery of a stable, production-ready solution

Deployment & Hypercare

• Support go-live deployment activities
• Provide issue resolution during hypercare period
• Ensure smooth transition to business-as-usual operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Jira Service Management (Cloud preferred)
• Strong expertise in designing and configuring workflows from scratch
• Proven ability to translate complex process diagrams into working configurations
• Experience with configuration-heavy implementations (no-code/low-code mindset)
• Strong understanding of secure and auditable workflow design (HIPAA, NIST, or similar frameworks)
• Deep knowledge of SLAs, automation rules, permission schemes, and field configurations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to delivering bug-free solutions
