Qualifications

Role Description

The Jewelry Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based at Gems Paradise in Jaipur. This role involves welcoming clients, understanding their preferences, and presenting suitable jewelry pieces with accurate product information and guidance. The Jewelry Salesperson will conduct in-store sales activities, handle inquiries, support billing and packaging, and ensure an organized, visually appealing showroom. Daily responsibilities include building long-term customer relationships, following up with clients, and supporting promotional events or trunk shows as needed. The role requires close collaboration with the sales and design teams to communicate customer feedback and maintain high service standards consistent with the brand’s luxury positioning.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with experience achieving or exceeding sales targets in a luxury or high-value retail environment.


• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear explanations, and a courteous, professional demeanor.


• Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge skills, with the ability to learn and explain details about gemstones, metals, craftsmanship, and design styles.


• Prior experience in jewelry, luxury goods, or premium retail is highly preferred.


• Ability to work on-site full time in Jaipur, including weekends and peak festive or wedding seasons as required.


• Strong interpersonal skills, integrity in handling transactions, and attention to detail in documentation and display management.


• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory tracking; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.


• Minimum high school diploma; a degree or certification in business, retail management, or gemology is an added benefit.
