Job summary

Valentine Silver International in Jaipur is hiring a Merchandiser to drive product development from gemstone inventory to commercial collections. You will collaborate with design to convert available material into SKUs and present proposals to buyers.

The role supports exports for TV shopping clients across Europe and USA. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years in jewellery merchandising, strong gemstone knowledge, and the ability to cost pieces before production.

• Real gemstone knowledge – sizes, cuts, calibration, substitutions.
• Ability to cost a piece before it's made.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing stone inventory and identifying what can be built into commercial collections.

• Costing pieces properly - stone, silver weight, labour, setting, finishing.
• Building matching sets and modular ranges so one base component produces multiple SKUs.
• Presenting collection proposals with a view on who buys it and at what price.

We're hiring a Merchandiser at Valentine Silver International, Jaipur.

We manufacture and export 925 sterling silver jewellery to retail and TV shopping clients across Europe and USA.

What the role involves:

• Reviewing stone inventory and identifying what can be built into commercial collections
• Working with design to turn available material into SKUs
• Costing pieces properly - stone, silver weight, labour, setting, finishing
• Building matching sets and modular ranges so one base component produces multiple SKUs
• Presenting collection proposals with a view on who buys it and at what price

What we need:

• 2-4 years in jewellery merchandising, buying or assortment planning
• Real gemstone knowledge - sizes, cuts, calibration, what's substitutable and what isn't
• Ability to cost a piece before it's made

Salary: ₹30,000-40,000 per month, based on experience.
