Job summary

Focus Management Consultants invites a skilled Jewellery CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of jewellery CAD experience and hands-on use of Matrix 9, MatrixGold, and Rhino to create production-ready models.

You will lead a small team of designers, coordinate with production, casting, and merchandising, and ensure designs meet buyer specifications for export markets.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of jewellery CAD designing experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Matrix 9, MatrixGold, and Rhino or similar jewellery CAD software.
• Experience working with jewellery export markets is preferred.
• Prior team handling or team coordination experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of 3D jewellery modelling, design detailing, and production feasibility.
• Understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, including casting, stone setting, and finishing.
• Ability to interpret design briefs, sketches, and customer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and time management.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D jewellery designs using Matrix 9, MatrixGold, Rhino, and other CAD software.
• Develop CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, and other jewellery categories.
• Convert sketches, reference images, and design concepts into accurate 3D models.
• Modify and refine designs according to buyer requirements and client feedback.
• Prepare production‑ready CAD files while ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and appropriate detailing.
• Coordinate with production, casting, setting, and merchandising teams to ensure smooth design execution.
• Handle and guide a team of CAD designers, allocate design assignments, and monitor work quality and delivery timelines.
• Review CAD models and ensure they meet technical specifications and customer expectations.
• Work on export orders and understand international buyer requirements, design standards, and quality expectations.
• Troubleshoot design and modelling issues and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Maintain design files and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Stay updated on new jewellery design trends, CAD techniques, and software developments.

The candidate should have hands‑on experience with Matrix 9, MatrixGold, Rhino, or similar jewellery CAD software, along with the ability to coordinate with and manage a team of designers.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of 3D jewellery modelling, design development, and production-ready files, ensuring designs meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and export market requirements.

Key Responsibilities
