Job summary

Royal Chain Private Limited in Mumbai is seeking a jewellery CAD designer to translate client concepts into production-ready 2D and 3D designs using Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD or related tools. The role demands strong aesthetics, manufacturing insight, and the ability to deliver precise models.

You will collaborate with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure feasibility from casting to finishing, while maintaining detailed records and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D and 3D jewellery designs using CAD software as per client and market requirements.
• Develop detailed and production-ready CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, and other jewellery products.
• Coordinate with the design, production and merchandising teams for design approvals and modifications.
• Ensure design feasibility for manufacturing, casting, stone setting, and finishing processes.
• Modify and revise existing CAD designs based on client feedback and production requirements.
• Maintain accuracy in dimensions, weight estimation, stone placement, and technical specifications.
• Stay updated with current jewellery trends, market demands, and innovative design concepts.
• Prepare rendering images and presentations for client approvals when required.
• Maintain organized records of CAD files, design libraries, and project documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned design projects while maintaining quality standards.
