Job summary

V M Kreation in Mumbai is seeking a highly creative CAD Designer to craft 2D and 3D models for new jewellery collections. You will develop 3D designs for upcoming products, work as a self-starter with superb attention to detail, and contribute to a dynamic, growth-oriented team.

You will collaborate across departments, convert sketches into production-ready models using Rhino/Matrix, and deliver precise CAD drawings while meeting timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience as a CAD Designer.
• Diploma/Certification in designing or equivalent experience in High end Jewellery industry.

Responsibilities

• Convert given Sketch designs into 2D & 3D models for jewellery manufacturing using Rhino/Matrix.
• Design or redesign complex layouts and drawings from specifications from Supervisor.
• Produce CAD drawings for new or improved products using industry standards.
• Collaborate with other teams to obtain reference information for drawings.
• Execute projects on time and on budget with project team.
• Review design layouts for compatibility with design concepts.
• Work with manufacturing team to resolve problems with designs.
• Participate in design reviews to evaluate concepts and make recommendations.
• Read and understand 2D and 3D drawings.
• Make corrections to drawings as requested by senior staff.
• Provide alternative design concepts to meet customer requirements.
• Create and update database of design records for future reference.

We are looking for a highly creative CAD Designer to design 2D & 3D models for new product development process. In this position, you will be responsible for developing the 3D designs for the firm’s upcoming jewellery collections. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills and show amazing attention to details.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Convert given Sketch designs into 2D & 3D models that can be further used for jewellery manufacturing process using Rhinos / Matrix.
• Design or redesign complex layouts and drawings from general written or verbal specifications from Supervisor.
• Produce CAD drawings for new or improved products using industry, departmental and discipline standards.
• Work with other teams to obtain reference information for drawings.
• Work with project team to execute projects on time and on budget.
• Review design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts.
• Work with manufacturing team to investigate and resolve problems with existing designs.
• Participate in manufacturing design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations.
• Read and understand 2D and 3D drawings.
