Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 17+ and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of Java-based microservices and REST APIs.
• Drive technical design, coding standards, code reviews, and best practices.
• Implement secure, scalable, fault-tolerant applications using Spring Boot and distributed systems patterns.
• Work with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud technologies to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based microservices and REST APIs.
• Drive technical design, coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Implement secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant applications using Spring Boot and distributed systems patterns.
• Work with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, preferably Java 17+.
• Microservices architecture and REST API development.
• SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, JVM performance, and design patterns.
• Technical leadership, mentoring, and production troubleshooting experience.

Preferred Skills

• Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• OAuth 2.0, JWT, Redis, and observability tools.
• Banking/BFSI experience in core banking, digital banking, payments, lending, or financial transaction processing.
