Job summary

Zensar seeks an experienced Java Technical Lead / Senior Java Microservices Developer with 10+ years in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise apps using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native tech.

You will lead microservices architecture, implement security with OAuth2/JWT, containerize with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes (EKS), and own CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Spinnaker, and JFrog Artifactory. Strong observability with OpenTelemetry and Coralogix is valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong Core Java, OOP, and multithreading expertise.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security (OAuth2, JWT).
• Proven microservices design and deployment experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead / Senior Java Microservices Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices, along with experience in modern observability and data processing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Implement secure applications using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT authentication mechanisms.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS services including EC2, S3, ECR, Glue, and Athena.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments through Kubernetes (EKS).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Spinnaker, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through multithreading, caching strategies, and Redis.
• Build batch-processing and data-ingestion solutions leveraging Apache Iceberg and DuckDB.
• Implement observability using OpenTelemetry and monitor applications through Coralogix.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Collections, and Multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security (OAuth2, JWT).
• Proven experience in designing and deploying Microservices Architecture.
• Strong cloud experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Expertise in Docker, containerization, and orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Spinnaker, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Strong testing experience using JUnit and Mockito.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Apache Iceberg, DuckDB, and data ingestion frameworks.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and Coralogix.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
