Project description

We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the technical development of the Platform Modernization Project for Investment Bank . This is a critical role that will drive the modernization and digital transformation initiatives for Bank's technology platform, leveraging cloud-native architecture and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Define technical standards and best practices for backend development using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related technologiesLead code reviews and establish coding standards to ensure quality, maintainability, and performanceEnsure on-time delivery of technical components while maintaining quality standardsManage technical risks and provide mitigation strategies to stakeholdersCoordinate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, Operations, and InfrastructureDrive the adoption of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies

SKILLS

Must have

• 12+ years of software development experience with Java
• 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or architect role
• Must have worked in Platform Modernization/Migration Project for Financial Services or Banking industry
• Java Development - Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency , Multithreading, and Concurrency
• Infrastructure & DevOps
• Good Understanding of:- Deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers- Server connectivity and management- Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation)- Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman)- Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes- Experience in Azure
