Job summary

Creospan Inc. is seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to steer the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The role requires hands-on Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices expertise with proven leadership to guide a development team.

You will collaborate with architects, QA, and stakeholders, ensuring code quality, performance, and secure, reliable releases in an Agile environment. Pune-based on-site position.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, along with experience leading a team of developers, driving technical decisions, and ensuring code quality and application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Define technical solutions and application architecture aligned with business requirements and development standards.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate services across distributed systems.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for development team members.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and software development best practices.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defects.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
• Drive technical discussions, effort estimation, task allocation, and delivery planning.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, build processes, deployment activities, and production releases.
• Ensure application security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical status reviews.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in Core Java and Java/J2EE.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in RESTful API design and development.
• Good understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of exception handling, multithreading, collections, and JVM fundamentals.
• Experience in code reviews, technical design, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a Java development team.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Hibernate/JPA.
• Messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Automated testing using JUnit and Mockito.

Experience

• Overall experience: Typically 8–12 years.
• Relevant experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Prior experience in a Technical Lead or equivalent technical leadership role.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

A technically strong Java professional who can balance hands‑on development with technical leadership, mentor developers, make sound architectural decisions, and ensure high‑quality delivery of scalable microservices‑based applications.
