Job summary

Infosys Finacle in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Java developer to design and implement robust backend services. You will work with RESTful APIs, microservices, Spring Boot and modern design patterns to build scalable solutions for banking platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in Java, strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, cloud (AWS), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and mentoring teammates while collaborating across teams to translate complex requirements into clean, reliable software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building Java applications.
• RESTful APIs and microservices design in Spring Boot, with 2+ years of designing applications.
• Expertise in design patterns and principles (eg SOLID), its usage and ability to apply the same.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Strong ability to grasp requirements and designs quickly; asks insightful questions to ensure clear goals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and good knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.
• Good experience with system design.
• Experience with open source libraries and softwares – (e.g., Apache Camel, Kafka, Redis, EFK).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
