Job summary

Photon is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the development team in Chennai. You will design, implement, test, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, aligning with cloud-native requirements on AWS or GCP.

The role requires mentoring junior engineers, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong knowledge of Kafka and Cassandra will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• 7-18 years of experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra).
• Experience with building scalable microservices using Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with messaging queues like Kafka for distributed communication.
