Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a backend engineer to design and implement high-performance APIs using Java Spring Boot and Python Flask/FastAPI. The role includes building scalable systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving automation across CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes, and apply Observability through OpenTelemetry and Splunk to ensure reliability and insight into production systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient backend development using Java Spring Boot and Python Flask/FastAPI.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and services with clean, well-documented code.
• Strength in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Familiarity with Observability tooling and distributed tracing.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver new features and enhancements.

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure CI/CD pipelinesto support our software development lifecycle.
• Develop and manage our cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Champion automation to streamline operational processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve system reliability.
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage Observability through Opentelemetry, Splunk.
