Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Flask/Fast). You will write clean, testable code, collaborate with frontend and product teams, and troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

The role includes building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, applying IaC with Terraform and Ansible, driving automation, and managing containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Flask/Fast).
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in our backend applications and distributed systems.
• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure CI/CD pipelines to support our software development lifecycle.
• Develop and manage our cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Champion automation to streamline operational processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve system reliability.
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage Observability through Opentelemetry, Splunk.
