Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a backend-focused engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance services and APIs using Java Spring Boot and Python Flask/FastAPI. The role emphasizes clean code, strong testing practices, and collaboration with product teams to deliver scalable features.

You will set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, and ensure reliable operations through containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and observability

Qualifications

• ProvenBackend design and development experience with Java Spring Boot and Python Flask/FastAPI.
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code following best practices.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs using Java Spring Boot and Python Flask/FastAPI.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in backend applications and distributed systems.
• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure CI/CD pipelines to support the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Champion automation to streamline operational processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve system reliability.
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage Observability through OpenTelemetry, Splunk.
