Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Production Support Engineer to manage enterprise applications, monitor health and performance, and drive incident resolution. You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and cloud teams to ensure high availability and quick recovery from incidents.

The role emphasizes on-call support, incident management within SLAs, and ongoing opportunities to implement automation and monitoring improvements across services.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in production support or similar roles.
• Experience with automation and monitoring to reduce incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for enterprise applications and platforms.
• Monitor application health, logs, alerts, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams to resolve issues.
• Manage incidents, problems, and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Perform deployment validation and post-release production monitoring.
• Prepare incident reports, RCA, and preventive action plans.
• Participate in on-call and weekend support as required.
• Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of recurring incidents.
