Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. in India is seeking a Production Support Engineer to maintain and improve enterprise applications. You will monitor health, logs and performance, troubleshoot incidents with DevOps and cloud teams, manage SLAs, and contribute to automation initiatives; weekend/on-call rotation may be required.

The role emphasizes automation, logs analysis (Splunk), and performance monitoring, with opportunities to work across cutting-edge tech like microservices, Java, SQL and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Automation using Selenium with Java, JMeter and microservices
• Strong Linux, SQL (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle) and UNIX shell scripting
• Experience monitoring production health, logs, alerts and performance; incident management and RCA

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for enterprise applications and platforms.
• Monitor application health, logs, alerts, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams to resolve issues.
• Manage incidents, problems, and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Perform deployment validation and post-release production monitoring.
• Prepare incident reports, RCA, and preventive action plans.
• Participate in on-call and weekend support as required.
• Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of recurring incidents.
