• Monitor health and performance of Java applications in production; respond to and resolve incidents to minimize downtime.
• Investigate and diagnose issues related to Java apps and dependencies; provide root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement performance improvements; optimize code and database queries in collaboration with developers.
• Coordinate release planning and execution; participate in change management including rollback planning.
• Maintain detailed incident documentation and create knowledge base articles for teams and end-users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, infra) and stakeholders; communicate incident status and prevention measures.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine monitoring tasks and proactive incident prevention.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage for critical production issues.

Release Management

Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure smooth deployments .Participate in the planning and execution of releases, including rollback plans.

Documentation

Maintain detailed documentation related to incidents, solutions, and system configurations.Create knowledge base articles to empower the support team and end-users.

Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and infrastructure teams, to address and resolve issues. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on incident resolution and prevention measures.

Automation

Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and monitoring. Implement proactive measures to prevent incidents through automation.

On-call Support

Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues.
