You will work on enterprise-grade applications, implementing RESTful APIs and microservices with robust security, testing, and observability. The role involves cloud-native design, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on software-development experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Deep understanding of Java fundamentals, including collections, streams, concurrency, OOD, and modern Java features.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience developing production apps using React and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Security, including OAuth2/OIDC authentication/authorization.
• Strong SQL knowledge and JDBC/JPA integration.
• Experience designing apps for distributed/cloud environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerized app development.
• Practically deploying on Kubernetes, preferably AKS, with automated testing (JUnit 5, Mockito, MockMvc).
• Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting across UI, API, DB, and integration layers.
• Secure coding practices and OWASP principles.
• Observability with structured logging, correlation IDs, metrics, health checks.
• Ability to make engineering trade-offs and mentor less-experienced engineers.
• Preferred: Azure/AKS, Microsoft Entra ID, Databricks, Terraform, Helm, Redis

Responsibilities

• Develop production-ready applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices with clear API contracts.
• Build frontend features with React and TypeScript.
• Apply Spring Security and OAuth2/OIDC across services.
• Work with SQL databases via JDBC/JPA.
• Deploy and operate in distributed/cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
• Implement automated tests (JUnit 5, Mockito, MockMvc) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams, mentor others, and document architectural decisions.
• Ensure secure coding practices and robust observability (logging, metrics, health checks).

MAKE AN IMPACT

Required Skills Strong hands-on software-development experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x.

Deep understanding of Java fundamentals, including collections, streams, concurrency, object-oriented design and modern Java language features. Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices.

Strong understanding of API contracts, abstraction boundaries, validation and error-handling strategies.

Hands-on experience developing production applications using React and TypeScript.

Strong knowledge of Spring Security, including OAuth2/OIDC authentication and authorization patterns.

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database integration using JDBC/JPA or equivalent technologies.

Experience designing applications for distributed/cloud environments.

Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development.

Practical experience deploying/supporting applications on Kubernetes, preferably AKS. Strong automated testing experience using JUnit 5, Mockito, MockMvc and integration-testing techniques.

Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong troubleshooting skills across UI, API, database and integration layers.

Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP application-security principles.

Experience implementing production observability using structured logging, correlation IDs, metrics and health checks.

Ability to make engineering trade-offs, document architectural decisions and mentor less-experienced engineers.
