Job summary

Agiliad is seeking a Backend Java Developer in Pune to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices. The role focuses on Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database interactions, collaborating with senior developers to deliver robust backend solutions.

The candidate will work with SQL/NoSQL databases, Hibernate/JPA, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong foundation in Core Java and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL basics.
• Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA or other ORM frameworks.
• Gained experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic understanding of unit testing (JUnit/Mockito).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Backend Java Developer with a strong foundation in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and databases. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior developers to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
  
• Contribute to Microservices-based application development.
  
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
  
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and perform database operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Java backend development.
  
• Good knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.

• Experience developing REST APIs.
  
• Good knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Education
