Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in building scalable and secure microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, SQL, and distributed systems, along with hands‑on experience in identity and access management, messaging platforms, caching technologies, and cloud‑native deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth 2.0, and Okta.
• Design and optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.
• Implement caching solutions using Redis to improve application performance and response times.
• Develop asynchronous and event‑driven solutions using Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using observability tools and logs.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams for deployments and environment management.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.
• Work in containerized environments with exposure to Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java 17 or Java 21.
• Extensive experience in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Good understanding and implementation experience of OAuth 2.0.
• Experience integrating with Okta for authentication and authorization.
• Hands‑on experience with Redis for caching.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Basic understanding of OpenShift.
