P99soft is seeking a skilled Server Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and operate fast, scalable game services. The role requires strong backend development experience with Java proficiency and hands-on cloud, database, and security skills.

You will collaborate with game designers, client engineers, and production teams to deliver reliable gameplay from conception to live operations, focusing on performance, reliability, and secure data handling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing scalable backend services.
• Strong proficiency in Java is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical/work experience.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working with Redis.
• Strong understanding of database design and working with large datasets.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Couchbase and DynamoDB.
• Experience defining API contracts and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• PHP experience is a bonus.
