Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Java Spring Boot Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our core backend engineering team. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable, event-driven microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in application performance optimization using Redis caching mechanisms and implementing real‑time messaging and data pipelines using Apache Kafka.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Build and manage real‑time event‑driven communication flows using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, and partitions.
• Implement low‑latency data structures and distributed caching solutions using Redis to minimize database load.
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, working with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Develop clean, testable, and maintainable code following SOLID principles, OOP standards, and secure coding practices.
• Build comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or AssertJ to ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 35 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+, including Collections, Streams, Multithreading, and Memory Management.
• Deep knowledge of the Spring Ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring MVC.
• Production‑level experience with Apache Kafka or similar message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
• Hands‑on experience with Redis for session management and distributed caching.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL / MySQL, including basic indexing and query tuning concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and repository management.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle and containerization tools such as Docker.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, or Confluent Platform.
