Persistent is seeking an experienced Java Azure Technical Lead for our Pune office to drive design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud solutions. You will work with architects, product teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient, and cloud-native applications.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of software development or technical leadership experience.
• Proficient in Java, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Spring Boot and enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services (AKS, App Services, Functions, Storage, Networking).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable, secure enterprise applications using Java and Azure.

About Position

We are looking for an experienced Java Azure Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications and cloud solutions. What You'll Do

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise applications using Java and Azure technologies.
• Define solution architectures, integration patterns, technical standards, and engineering best practices.

Expertise You'll Bring

• 8?12 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or technical leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience building enterprise-grade applications using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Expertise in designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of system integration, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.
• Experience in application performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional delivery environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor teams and lead technical initiatives from design through production deployment.
