Network People Services Technologies Ltd. (NPST- Banking and Payment Solutions) is seeking an experienced IT Application Support specialist in Noida to lead L2/L3 support for Java and Node.js applications.

You will run JARs, analyze logs, script automation, and coordinate with dev and infra teams while maintaining SOPs, audits, and ISO 27001 compliance. 5 days office; 6–9 years experience; BFSI/IT domain.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
• 6–9 years of experience in IT/software support or BFSI domains.
• Hands-on with Java and Node.js runtimes; capable of running JARs and debugging.
• Proficient in log analysis and script-based automation.
• Familiar with ITSM ticketing tools and security policies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage L2/L3 application support operations for Java and Node.js applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Execute and monitor .JAR files, identify runtime errors, and perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze applications, servers, and system logs to detect and address anomalies.
• Write scripts (Shell, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and log parsing.
• Monitor application performance and health using monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for fix implementation and testing.
• Document known errors, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in knowledge base.
• Train and guide junior team members in application support practices.
• Participate in deployments, validations, and provide post-deployment support.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base for all supported applications.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit, IT security policies, and ISO 27001.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in troubleshooting Java-based applications, with a working knowledge of Node.js (preferred). The role requires the ability to run .JAR files, analyze logs, debug errors, and implement quick and effective resolutions. Candidates must also have scripting expertise and familiarity with modern monitoring tools.

What are we looking for:

• Strong experience supporting Java-based applications and Node.js runtimes (preferred).
• Ability to run and debug .JAR files, trace logs, and resolve errors efficiently.
• Hands-on knowledge on middleware technologies such as Apache Tomcat, NGINX, or WebLogic.
• Proficient in log analysis and performance tuning of applications.
• Scripting experience with Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Expertise with monitoring tools: Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios.
• Proficient with ticketing & ITSM tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Freshservice.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line troubleshooting.
• Security awareness: understanding of patch management, encryption, firewalls, and access controls.
• Excellent problem-solving and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science.

Experience – 6-9 years
