HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Java Backend developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience. The role focuses on Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to design scalable REST APIs and distributed systems, with Kubernetes, cloud familiarity, and on-call production support.

The candidate will work across global teams, ensuring performance, reliability, and timely issue resolutions, while embracing ownership and proactive problem-solving.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience designing and developing scalable REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments in enterprise environments.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proven Production Support experience, including on-call rotations, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Strong RCA, performance tuning, monitoring, and application optimization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle and proficiency in SQL.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, and Agile development practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, flexibility, and proactive attitude to drive issues to closure.
• Eligible for 24x7 on-call support as per roster.
• Nice to Have: Docker, Kafka, Observability/Monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana), and exposure to SRE/DevOps.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices applications.
• Design and develop scalable REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Work with Kubernetes and containerized deployments in enterprise environments.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Provide Production Support including on-call rotations and incident management.
• Conduct RCA, performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle and write efficient SQL.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, and Agile practices.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders, communicating effectively.
• Demonstrate ownership and drive issues to closure with accountability.
• Be available for 24x7 on-call as per roster.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.

• Person should be ok to work for 24x7 oncall support as per roster
