Job summary

The Corporate Institute is hiring an Investment Analyst in Bengaluru to support deal sourcing and sector research for an AI-focused venture fund. You will work directly with the founder, meeting early-stage founders, form opinions on new AI sectors, and help steer investment decisions.

Responsibilities include outbound sourcing, initial calls to flag opportunities, researching AI themes, building market maps, and preparing screening notes for the team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience, ideally in consulting.
• IIT or BITS background preferred; strong candidates from other top-tier institutions with a consulting background are also welcome.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and eagerness to explore new sectors.
• Extremely high rigour and comfort with research-heavy sourcing work.
• Interested in investing as a career, or in building something of your own one day.

We’re hiring: Investment Analyst

Our client is an AI-native early-stage VC fund. They back Indian-origin founders building ambitious AI companies, usually as the first institutional cheque at pre-seed and seed.

They’re looking for a sharp, curious analyst to work directly with the founder on deal sourcing and sector research. You’ll meet founders at the earliest stage, form views on new AI sectors and help decide where the fund invests.

What you’ll do:
