Job summary

Valmet Corporation seeks an Item Specialist to manage item data with an analytical mindset. You will ensure data consistency and quality throughout the quote-to-delivery process, collaborating with a global network for end-to-end efficiency.

The role requires a diploma/bachelor's in engineering, logistics, or business, strong English, and a proactive, customer-oriented approach. Experience with PDM/PLM and ERP systems is an advantage.

Are you the new forward-minded team player we are looking for? We are looking for Item Specialist with strong knowledge or interest on item data management with analytical mindset to join the Services - Global Item data Management -team. You will have a key role in the quote-to-delivery process by ensuring item data consistency and quality.

• Collaboration with global network of business area professionals to facilitate efficient end-to-end process cycle times.
• Maintain item data quality and implement corrective actions.

Our expectations for you

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics or business administration or other relevant experience.
• Language skills in English, both written and oral.
• Multi-cultural team player with clear communication skills and with customer service-attitude.
• Strong Analytical, development minded and self-motivated.
• Capability to utilize technical documentation and read drawings and eye for detail.
• Knowledge of Valmet or other technical products is considered as an advantage.
• Systems experience of PDM/PLM, Infor LN (or other ERP system) is considered as an advantage.
• Microsoft Office skills are also advantage.
• Experience or knowledge from master data management is considered as an advantage.
• Willingness to learn new skills with good team of colleagues across the globe.
