Job summary

Valmet Corporation in Pune is seeking an Analyst, Logistics and MM to analyze and optimize inventory, logistics and material management processes. You will collect and interpret data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making within the supply chain.

You will develop KPIs, build dashboards, and use AI-powered reporting tools to enable proactive operational insights and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in inventory, logistics or transportation industry analysis.
  • Experience with ERP (e.g., Infor LN, SAP) and WMS or TMS systems is a plus.
  • Experience with AI tools and techniques for reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to inventory, logistics and transportation to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement or cost savings.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of logistics and material management processes.
  • Recommend process improvements based on data analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Utilize software tools and systems (Power platform) to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure logistics and material management related data quality and consistency to enable higher level of automated processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on logistics and material management performance; build dashboards and automate reporting for operational decision making.
  • Utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools and techniques to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Monitor process deviations in ERP and automate monitoring as far as possible to support proactive daily operations.

Experience & education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in inventory, logistics or transportation industry analysis.

Experience with ERP (e.g., Infor LN, SAP) and WMS or TMS systems is a plus.

Experience with AI tools and techniques for reporting and analytics.
