Job summary

ASSPL - Maharashtra is seeking Ops Tech IT Support Engineers to assist the operations team by resolving technical problems across our Fulfillment sites. This role serves as the first level of IT support and represents the IT department to customers on site.

Responsibilities include maintaining IT equipment, troubleshooting PCs, printers, handheld devices, and scanners, and coordinating RMA processes. Travel to various sites and adherence to safety procedures are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of corporate IT support across Windows, Mac and Linux.
• Experience troubleshooting integrated computer systems and peripherals.
• Experience maintaining Zebra printers, thin clients, scanners and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IT equipment across Fulfillment sites.
• Troubleshoot IT equipment including PCs, wireless handheld devices, thin clients and printers.
• Manage RMA and repair process for devices under warranty.
• Support senior engineers on daily projects and activities.
• We have a 5‑day work week with variable off days due to 7‑day operation and shift patterns.
• Travel to multiple buildings within the state/region as required.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report to the IT manager.

About The Role

Ops Tech IT Support Engineers will be responsible for utilizing their skills to provide assistance to the operations team in resolving technical problems within these sites that cover a multitude of technical disciplines. The IT Support Engineers position is the first level of support for the operations of the Amazon Sites and becomes the voice and face of the IT department to our customers.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Maintenance of IT equipment throughout the Fullfillment sites.
• Troubleshooting of all IT related equipment such as PCs, wireless handheld devices, thin clients, printers and other end user devices.
• Manage RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty.
• Support the Senior Engineers in daily projects and activities as directed.
• We have a 5-day work week but given the 7 days a week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs.
• The position will require supporting of multiple buildings around the area and flexible to travel to sites with in the state /region.
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.
• This position reports directly to the IT manager for the Fullfillment sites.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
• Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
