Job summary

ASSPL in India seeks an IT Support Associate to assist the operations team in resolving technical problems within the Fulfillment Center. You will be the first level of IT support and serve as a bridge to Technical Support Technicians.

We value strong hardware/software understanding and clear communication. The role involves network troubleshooting, data cabling, printer and thin-client support, and mentoring junior staff in daily IT operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
• Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the operations team in resolving technical problems within the Fulfillment Center
• Serve as the first level of IT support for operations and as a liaison to Technical Support Technicians
• Engage in network engineering, troubleshooting and project management; mentor Technical Support Technicians

The successful IT Support Associate will be responsible for utilizing his/her skills to provide assistance to the operations team in resolving technical problems within the Fulfillment Center that cover a multitude of technical disciplines. This position is the first level of support for the operations of the Fulfillment Center and serves as a resource to Technical Support Technicians while also acting as a representative of the IT department to internal customers.

Key job responsibilities

The IT Support Associate must have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. They must possess superior technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills . Additionally they must possess strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. Regular activities include network engineering and troubleshooting, project management, mentorship of Technical Support Technicians, data cabling, systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments, telecom/PBX administration, root cause analysis in problem solving, and assistance in managing the daily activities of the department.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
