Job description

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with 5–6 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure and SaaS/PaaS solution implementation projects from initiation through successful go-live and closure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering IT infrastructure projects and SaaS/PaaS implementations, along with strong technical delivery, stakeholder management, vendor management, and financial management skills. The role requires an assertive and proactive professional who can lead cross-functional teams, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with required security, performance, and business standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive IT infrastructure and SaaS/PaaS implementation projects from initiation, planning, and execution through go-live and closure.
• Own project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall delivery outcomes.
• Lead technical delivery by coordinating infrastructure, network, security, application, cloud, workplace, and business teams.
• Translate business requirements into clear project plans, technical deliverables, milestones, and implementation activities.
• Manage SaaS/PaaS implementation activities, including vendor coordination, configuration, integration, testing, migration, deployment, and go-live.
• Coordinate with technology teams to ensure solutions meet required security, performance, availability, and operational standards.
• Manage third-party vendors, system integrators, SaaS/PaaS providers, and technology partners, including delivery commitments and escalations.
• Drive cross-functional teams and ensure clear ownership of project deliverables and dependencies.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, costs, purchase requirements, and financial tracking.
• Ensure projects remain within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead project governance meetings and provide regular status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication across business and technical teams.
• Coordinate testing, implementation, cutover, go-live, and transition to support teams.
• Ensure appropriate project documentation, governance, approvals, and handover activities are completed.
• Drive post-implementation reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–6 years of experience in IT project management, preferably across infrastructure and technology implementation projects.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and SaaS/PaaS implementation projects end to end.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud, cybersecurity, workplace technologies, and enterprise applications.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating multiple technology workstreams.
• Hands‑on experience managing SaaS/PaaS implementations, including vendor coordination, integration, testing, deployment, and go‑live.
• Strong vendor and third‑party management experience.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, costs, and financial controls.
• Strong project planning, execution, tracking, and governance skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management capabilities.
• Assertive, proactive, and confident in challenging delays and driving teams towards delivery.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work in an on‑site environment in Bengaluru.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure transformation or modernisation projects would be an added advantage.
• Exposure to cloud, network, cybersecurity, data centre, workplace, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience working with global teams and international vendors.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
