About the Role
Join Sabre's Operations Control Center (OCC) team, a critical function that supports Sabre's global infrastructure and technology platforms processing over 85,000 transactions per second. The OCC team serves as the first line of response for operational incidents, proactively monitoring and mitigating potential issues before they impact customers.
As an IT Operations Analyst I, you will work closely with Operations Control Center peers and Service Reliability Engineers to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of Sabre's applications and infrastructure. Training, cross-functional exposure, and knowledge-based operational support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow and apply ITIL-based operational processes and procedures.
- Monitor and support the operational stability of Sabre applications and infrastructure.
- Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
- Initiate and coordinate technical incident bridges through resolution.
- Perform incident triage and service request support using established knowledge bases.
- Execute day-to-day operational activities by following documented work instructions and procedures.
- Adhere to organizational policies, operational directives, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service availability and operational excellence.
- Work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment, including night shifts.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a Command Center, Network Operations Center (NOC), Service Desk, or similar operational support environment.
- Basic understanding of IT Operations, Incident Management, and Monitoring processes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
- Splunk
- Zabbix
- AppDynamics
- Google Cloud Console (or similar tools)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

- Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Exposure to cloud and infrastructure monitoring environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
