Responsibilities

• Oversee campus IT operations, infrastructure and computer laboratories.

• Manage lab desktops, servers, printers and other IT equipment across the campus.
• Coordinate LAN/Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, firewalls and internet connectivity.
• Lead installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of OS and software.
• Manage software licensing, cybersecurity, data backup and access control.
• Plan upgrades, procurement and resource allocation; maintain asset inventory and records.
• Collaborate with academic departments to meet lab and technical requirements.
• Establish SOPs for campus IT operations and supervise the IT team.

KL University, Aziz Nagar Engineering Campus, is looking for an experienced and technically skilled IT Manager to oversee campus-wide IT operations, infrastructure, and multiple computer laboratories supporting engineering students and faculty.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of computer labs, IT systems, networking, hardware, software, and technical support services across the campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise multiple computer laboratories across the engineering campus.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Manage campus LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
• Oversee installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of operating systems and software.
• Ensure all computer labs are equipped with the required software, applications, and development tools for engineering students.
• Coordinate with Lab Programmers, Lab Technicians, and IT Support Staff.
• Monitor IT infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage software licensing, antivirus, cybersecurity, data backup, and access control.
• Plan IT infrastructure upgrades, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and maintenance records.
